@Strangetimes87 wrote this as one of her ten minute writing prompts. It is absolutely amazing:
They hated being one of those boring couples that went out to dinner, sat across from each other and had nothing to talk about. Pathetic couples of convenience who could barely remember what it felt like to be in love with the person sat in front of them. So they played games. They had a question they had to answer, write their responses on the napkin in front of them and then they never ran out of amazing dinner time conversation. Best Band Ever. Greatest Love Story in History. Animals That Couldn’t Possibly Have Fit On Noah’s Ark. Today’s prompt: Places I Want To Go.
10 minutes. Sharpies out. Go.
She closed her eyes and thought of cobbled streets in Paris. The warm sand in Rio. Green, majestic mountains in Iceland. The wide open plains in the wild west. Waterslides at Disney. The world opened up before her as she delved deeper and deeper into exploring this beautiful gift of life that she had learned to love so much. She flipped her napkin over and scribbled more places - every corner of the world she could remember. Tibet. Nairobi. Vienna. Oslo. She could do this for days.
The dumplings’ arrival signals the end of the game. He reaches over smiling at her napkin - a mish mash of places, her own personal globe, every adventure she’s ever dreamed of somehow squished in that tiny space. He has a twinkle in his eye as he hands her his. Three words - “Home. With you.”
Best thing I have ever seen: Shadowbox piggy bank with a picture of whatever you’re saving for. Inspirational.
After much pondering and consideration, it’s time to announce my personal Twitter Awards. Throughout this incredibly tough year, Twitter has given me a lot of joy, and I want to do something for all you guys who have spent time reading my, sometimes dark and difficult, tweets.
There are a lot of amazing people on Twitter, ranging from football bloggers, professional athletes and business men to fashion bloggers, mums and dads and some of the best procrastinators I have ever had the pleasure to see.
Now it’s time to dish out some praise, some recognition and, who knows, maybe some prizes. What I need you to do is to send me an e-mail with your nominees for the following categories. The tweeters with the most nominations will be entered into a popular vote where the one with the most votes wins and will be crowned “Tweeter of the Year” in whichever category he/she wins.
In order for your vote to be counted, you will have to send an e-mail to Preben@7Cantonas.com where you list your nominees (and a reason for your picks if you’d like to do that). Please note that you DON’T have to nominate someone in every category. If you, for example, only want to nominate a blog of the year, that’s perfectly fine. The nomination period lasts for one week (last chance to nominate will be Friday 30th of December) and the public vote will end one week after the nomination deadline has passed.
The categories are as following:
Blog of the Year:
Blogger of the Year:
Blog of the Year That Isn’t A Sports Blog-award:
Blogger of the year That Isn’t a Sports Blogger-award:
Inspirational Tweeter of the Year:
Comedy Genius of the Year:
Procrastinator of the Year:

Thank you in advance. Any questions are directed to me on Twitter (www.twitter.com/ohpebbles). Happy voting!
PS: Only morons vote for themselves.
